Constable Thatch is a policeman serving in The Burgue.

Season One[]
Constable Thatch is a relatively new policeman, and was partnered with Constable Boggs. While on duty on Carnival Row, they began to accost a young faun girl for selling meat without a license. Boggs tried to sell her one, but she said she would have to ask her father. Thatch threw a pig's head on the ground, which was noticed by a new arrival who told Thatch to pick it up. Thatch immediately confronted the man despite Boggs telling him not to, and found himself in a scuffle that ended up with Thatch on the floor and cleaver near his head. Boggs managed to tell him that the new arrival was Inspector Rycroft Philostrate, and apologised for Thatch as he pulled him away.[1]
When the body of Aisling Querelle was discovered, Thatch and Boggs were part of the police presence in the area. Thatch, seeing Aisling's disembowelled corpse, promptly threw up.[2]
