Kobolds, derogatorily known as critch, are small goblins. Although they have their own language and culture, they do not speak English, and are often (especially by humans) viewed as "primitive" and treated as though they are animals.

Kobolds are sometimes kept as pets by aristocratic Burguish families. They are intelligent enough to be competent actors in plays put on by Runyan Millworthy.

History[]

Kobolds maintained their own culture and spoke their own language; they did not speak human languages and were therefore often mistaken for being primitive or even unintelligent animals. Kobolds were impulsive but also highly intelligent. Because of these traits, they are generally misunderstood by humans to be nothing more than.[1]

Appearance and biology[]

Kobolds are small, doll-size creatures with large yellow eyes and pointy cat ears. Most of them seem to not wear any kind of clothing and have brownish leathery skin that acts as a natural form of armor.[1]

Powers and abilities[]

When threaten, they can roll up into an armored ball similar to that of an armadillo.
