Cape Tairn was a location in The Burgue, situated near the coastline leading to the Great Main. A lighthouse is situated at Cape Tairn, and it falls under the jurisdiction of Constabulary No. 6. It is frequented by upper class Burguish, with children being taken to the area by their faun nannies.[1]
When the Deliverance was wrecked in winter squalls, the wreckage and bodies of the passengers washed up along Cape Tairn. Two children, Peter and Franny, discovered the wreck of the ship, leading their nanny to tell them to get a policeman. The only survivor of the wreck, Vignette Stonemoss, was found at Cape Tairn and taken to the police station for processing.[1]
