Anoun, formally the Kingdom of Anoun or Dominion of Anoun, is a country in northern Tirnanoc. It is a matriarchal monarchy ruled by a Queen, and its capital city is High Bresail. The population is primarily fae, but until recently the isolated Vitris Valley was also home to the last of the sparases, who were thought to have gone extinct centuries ago.
Seven years ago, Anoun was occupied by the Quivira-Cibola Pact, which defeated the Republic of The Burgue and the Anouni army in the Second Tirnanese War, also called the Great War of Tirnanoc. The Pact forbids any fae from attempting to leave Anoun, and is waging a campaign of genocide against them.
